Paper Rossette Instructions

Hey ladies! As some of you know, I have been promising a video on making paper rossettes using my new Martha Stewart Scoring Board. Well, my husband has finally figured out, (for me), a way to get this video on my blog. Sorry about the delay but you will be happy to learn how to make these. I don't know if any of you have seen the price on the pre-made ones at the craft stores but let me tell you, they cost between $5 and $10 dollars. Can you believe that? They are so easy, and fun to make!

For some reason I could not upload the video onto Blogger, so below is a link to my YouTube video:

Rossette Demostration <---click

Supplies needed:

Scoring Board
Tape runner
Hole punch
Hot glue gun
12 inch x 1 1/4 inch paper strip
Cardstock for backing and top
A brad/gem/button
Unlimited creativity!

I really hope I've inspired some rossette making! You just never know when there might be a challenge when you might be called on to make a rossette for a chance for blog candy...hint hint hint! If I did inspire you to make one please let me know...I would love to see! Thanks for stopping in!

Susan

*As always, if you are new here I would love to have you as a follower and I'd be more than happy to give you a new follower also! Please leave your blog address!

Thanks Susan for your sweet comments on my blog! I became your follower too and a subscriber as well! I can't wait to watch this video on the rosettes...I've only made them before with the help of someone else but recently got me a MS score board so I can't wait to try them!

Very awesome tutorial! I have the Tim Holtz die and still have yet to use it - I bought it before I found these tutes all over the place! You could also border punch one side of it too to make an awesome edge to the rosette! TFS! :)

Wow, your rosette is so absolutely beautiful, Susan!! The paper is so awesome!! I am going to go watch your video...be right back...

K, I'm back! You did an awesome job with the video, my friend!! I love making rosettes and I have never thought of using hot glue...my gosh it would be so much easier than the mish-mosh of glues and glue dots I try to use! And how do you not burn your fingers?? Every time I use a glue gun, no matter how careful I am, I burn myself!!

Did you see that Cricut stole your idea and came out with a rosette cart yesterday??!! I haven't looked at the close up pics yet to see what all is on the cart. It's rosettes and ribbon, or something like that.

I hope you love your Rock Princess cart! I can't wait to see what you make with it!

Have a wonderful weekend my sweet friend! I hope you have fun plans!! :D

Hugs, Lisa :)
